FairyDust has been providing our unique services in Pinellas and Hillborough counties since 1995.

What Makes Us Unique?

We take pride in the fact that we have been “green” since 1995, long before it has become popular to provide natural cleaning as an alternative to harsh chemicals.

Our home cleaning is consistent and detailed, utilizing hypo-allergenic equipment along with tools researched to provide high level performance and quality on various surfaces in the home.

Our office cleaning is not janitorial; we provide dusting, sanitizing of surfaces, thorough bathroom cleaning; along with vacuuming and mopping.

Both home and office assignments receive light organization to be sure the appearance is neat and tidy.

Our line of products used in the cleaning service and those for sale, are earth-friendly with exclusive signature fragrances from essential oils…no harsh chemicals; no harsh fragrances; and are biodegradable and are not tested on animals.

Our staff receive a thorough background check; and 2 months of training in their positions.

Pet care emphasizes the social welfare of the pets; their need for human contact to promote their feelings of safety and loving care while their family is away.

On our initial consultation we create a profile of the pet’s personality and characteristics so we can quickly bond with your pet.

Administration of medical needs to pets beyond the taking of a pill, is available for those less healthy pets; such as, diabetic shots and subcutaneous fluids injections.

Support, planning and grief consultation is provided for clients going through the devastation of a very ill pet.

Feng Shui decorating consultation can bring harmony and balance into your life; assist you to let go of clutter; and stabilize your mood; just to begin.

FairyDust History

After years of working in management positions for various corporations, then in social service organizations; it became clear to me that it was time to branch out on my own and become an entrepreneurial spirit. So in 1995, I made the jump and began FairyDust with the goal of providing services that would benefit peoples’ lives by bringing a bit of joy and that much needed peace-of-mind.

We began with our home and office cleaning. Cleaning had to be performed like I was taught by my Mom, who did work with me in the business until her death in 2005. Very important to the cleaning process was the use of natural products, as it was important to me that our clients, their family and pets, and the environment be protected from unhealthy cleaning products. In 1995, it was not easy finding plant products, as being “green” was definitely not popular yet. With lots of research, by 1996, I was able to locate a company in Minnesota, who were creating plant products and were also combining the plants with essential oils to produce a wonderful aromatherapeutic cleaning product. Perfect for the FairyDust model of business. We have been using these products ever since.

In-home pet services became my next priority. Having grown up with many different types of pets and also having exposure to farm animals; animal welfare is a high priority in my life. Pets need the comfort and safety of their own homes to keep them stress-free when their caregiver is away from home. Most importantly is that care is provided by professional animal caregivers, who know what to do in emergencies, know how to bond with an animal and treat them like the beloved family members that they are. We are definitely passionate about our pet care.

So here we are, so many years later, still providing those core services, and in recent years having added Feng Shui consultation, and organizing services.
